Dried Leaves and Crude Oil

This is my take on the "Judge a book" axiom. A friend once described his beautiful ex-girlfriend as being a canvas sack filled with dried leaves and crude oil. He was right of course. And it seems to hold true, more often than not. Why are beautiful people so often vapid egocentric canvas sacks? It is like the Tootsie roll pop, we may never know.
